As we learn the fundamentals of writing Italic Script, we will explore how generations of Portland calligraphers transformed a local educational movement into one of the most influential calligraphic communities in North America.
Location
Class is held in my day-job offices on NE Broadway Avenue and 27th Avenue in Portland, near the Hollywood Fred Meyer.

We apply the lessons to create projects like weathergrams, greeting cards, framed quotations and holiday ornaments using a variety of pens, nibs, ink and paper.
